Sakia J. Sellars, BSW, M.Ed.
Administrator & Early Intervention Specialist
With over 20 years of dedicated experience in Early Childhood Education, Sakia J. Sellars has devoted her career to supporting the developmental needs of young children and their families. As the founder and administrator of Education Service for Early Intervention, she brings deep expertise, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to every child she serves.
Her work spans community-based early intervention services across 10+ counties in North Carolina, where she partners with Children's Developmental Services Agencies (CDSAs) to deliver evidence-based support that makes a real difference in children's lives. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field, Sakia was proudly named a 2026 Mecklenburg & Union County Early Childhood Honoree.
