Sakia J. Sellars, BSW, M.Ed.
Administrator & Early Intervention Specialist
With over two decades of experience in Early Childhood Education, Sakia leads Education Service for Early Intervention with a passion for empowering families and driving developmental success for every child. Her expertise spans community-based services, parenting programs, and advocacy for children's developmental needs across North Carolina. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field, Sakia was proudly named a 2026 Mecklenburg & Union County Early Childhood Honoree.

Her extensive background includes work with Tri-County Mental Health and Children's Developmental Services Agency, giving her deep insight into the systems and supports that make a difference for families. Her compassionate approach and wealth of knowledge make her an invaluable resource for the families we serve.

Ashley Henderson, BA
Early Intervention Specialist & Implementation Specialist
Ashley Henderson is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, where she earned a BA in Elementary Education. She brings over five years of teaching experience in North Carolina public schools, along with more than a decade of experience in early childhood education. Her professional background spans family services, human services, behavioral health, and CBRS, allowing her to support students and families from a well-rounded perspective. Ashley has also worked as a family partner, where she coordinated classes and provided direct support to children and families. Passionate about empowerment and community impact, she actively mentors youth in her community. Currently, Ashley serves as an Implementation Specialist through the UNC Greensboro High Fidelity Wraparound Training Program, where she supports professionals in delivering family-centered care.

Teresa Broadway-Jasper, MA
Early Intervention Specialist
Teresa Broadway-Jasper, MA, is a certified Early Intervention Specialist. She has years of experience providing intensive in-home care and has served as an MST therapist providing counseling to individuals and their families with mental health disorders. Also, she has assisted with the implementation and development of individual treatment plans and goals that are measurable to the individual and family members. Additionally, she has provided crisis intervention, group counseling, and individual counseling. Lastly, she has delivered client services by providing intake, crisis intervention, and case management.

Ethan Sellars is an Information Technology graduate from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (Cybersecurity concentration) with hands-on academic experience across software development, network security, web programming, and database security. Proficient in Java and C; strong foundation in object-oriented programming, secure systems design, and threat mitigation. Collaborative team player who communicates technical concepts clearly and adapts quickly to new tools and environments.
